VSM holders will be required to send their tokens to an ETH wallet, and they will receive the new tokens at a concrete exchange value. It is important for people to follow the steps mentioned in the article clearly, otherwise they risk losing their tokens.
After the successful completion of VSM token sale in June and the token’s subsequent listing on leading crypto exchanges, the Voise team is continuously working on Q4 2017’s deliverables. We are close to releasing the first code commit, and we are actively engaged in the development of our secondary platform. In the meantime, our music platform has been received well by renowned independent artists, including the likes of Grammy-nominated Carolyn Malachi, and DJ sensation Jinco.
This article, however, discusses a minor challenge, and how we already have a long-term solution for it. It has to do with VSM holders who would soon be required to convert their VSM tokens into our new institutionalized token, $VOISE.How to Convert VSM into $VOISE?
Important: DO NOT SEND VSM TOKENS FROM AN EXCHANGE. USE PRIVATE WALLET INSTEAD.
Users are recommended to follow these steps in order of their appearance:
Step 1: Create an account on our supporting wallets, such as MyEtherWallet, Mist, Parity, etc.
Step 2: Send all your VSM tokens to VOISE team address, mentioned at this link: www.voise.com/tokenswap
Step 3: VOISE holders will receive the new VOISE tokens with the new ticker ($VOISE), right back to their wallets. — RATE : 1 VSM = 1000 VOISE .Why Token Swap Need of the Hour
Ever since the deployment of VSM tokens on exchanges, we have come to understand two things: we need to readjust total supply with respect to the total VSM sold, and introduce monetary units that are easy to deal with. Here is a detailed explanation:
A total of 825,578 VSM tokens were distributed to 1151 unique addresses during the crowdsale. The total token supply proposed in the original whitepaper was 100 million. Due to this, the per token value of VSM with respect to the USD got severely fractionalized, which in long term could lead to a calculation chaos — so we believe — because VSMs are not divisible yet.
We are already witnessing this. Many VSM users are paying 1 VSM in transaction fee to avoid the decimal problem. The exact transaction fee should be 0.1 VSM in an ideal scenario. If this is to continue, Voise Platform will have difficult time meeting its long-term goals.
It is with this logic, we have decided to readjust the future supply to 825,578,000 units. It means that for each VSM you deposit, you will instantly receive 1000 $VOISE tokens. It’s a simple mathematics even if you purchase songs on our platform. A 14 VOISE sounds better than 1.4 VSM, anytime.
Here are final $VOISE token code details to take home with:
Maximum Supply: 825,578,000
Ticker: VOISEToken Swap Starts September 16, 2017
Through this post, we officially announce that the token swap period will begin September 16, 2017. And effective September 24, 2017, we will start delisting the old VSM coins from exchanges and replace them with the new VOISE tokens.
There is nothing to worry about. This step is only for the betterment of VOISE platform and its community. In whichever amount you hold the old VSM tokens, their underlying value will remain the same after they are swapped for the new VOISE tokens. More, we already have a well sketched plan to list $VOISE tokens on major exchanges, which we will implement soon after the Token Swap is concluded.*THE NEW VOISE PLATFORM WILL NO LONGER BE COMPATIBLE WITH OLD VSM TOKENS, BUT ONLY $VOISE. How I can see VOISE tokens?
To see VOISE tokens you need to add custom token on MyEtherWallet,Parity and Mist.
