InsurePal - peer-to-peer insurance based on social proof endorsements, power of blockchain innovation.

  • ABOUT

InsurePal is a next generation of peer-to-peer insurance based on social
proof endorsements, fully harnessing the power of blockchain innovation.
It will serve as a replacement for insurances as we know it
business that began to emerge with the evolution of blockchain
and transactions being carried out on the distributed ledger.

    WHY SUPPORT InsurePal?

    SOCIAL PROOF PATENT

    We’ve successfully reinvented the social
    proof methodology for insurance industry.
protection in the US and worldwide.

    INSUREPAL TOKEN

IPL token will be the fuel of InsurePal
platform used by clients and 3rd-parties
worldwide. The InsurePal platform will use
and make the tokens available to a broad
    audience.

    SCALABILITY

Insurance is a $7 trillion global market. By
becoming an early adopter of blockchain
technology, InsurePal can gain an important
    advantage.

    DECENTRALIZATION & SELF-REGULATION

    Our business model allows self-regulation
without the need of a central institution. As
the risk-prone individuals will be automaticost
    reductions.

    INDUSTRY KNOW-HOW

InsurePal team combines best of both
    worlds – renowned insurance professionals
with years of industry experience and
    dedicated blockchain evangelists with a
    track-record of successful projects.

    SOCIAL IMPACT

InsurePal motivates groups for a change to
better. We’re creating a complete switch in
paradigm and growing a global community
that shares a common value of reciprocity.

    VISION

Our vision is to craft an insurance premium based on one’s social endorsements by
rewarding diligence. We’re growing a community that shares the common value of reciprocity
and thus creating a shift, not just in insurance industry, but also in a broader
society. InsurePal can and will self-regulate without the need of an industry-funded regulatory
body, continuously allowing us to create attractive end-to-end insurance solutions,
addressing both, the challenges of today and those of tomorrow.

John is a responsible, diligent driver who hasn’t had an accident in years. But, the price of John`s insurance is $1000 per year. He feels bad for overpaying for
his mandatory car insurance. He finds out about InsurePal insurance, which offers him an upfront saving of $400 on his car insurance. Everything he needs to
do is to find an endorser who will guarantee for his good driving record. He immediately thinks of his friend Mary and sends her an invite, whilst also explaining
her the idea behind the new insurance. Mary guarantees for John with a credit card and immediately receives an upfront reward $100 worth of IPL tokens.
This token transaction also contains the social proof information. When Mary enters her credit card data, she exposes herself to a potential payment of $550
($400 of John’s savings, $100 of her cash-back bonus and $50 of penalties). It is important to note that Mary’s credit card will only be charged in case John
files an at fault claim within the next year. In other words, if there is no claim, John paid only $600 for his insurance and Mary got $100 of IPL tokens, which
she can sell on an exchange and spend or keep as an investment. John can find more endorser to further reduce his insurance price and at the same time
promote InsurePal, helping the product to grow virally. And because John understands the benefits of InsurePal, he will also be willing to endorse Mary who
is safe driver as well, when her car insurance policy will be due.

Andrew and Susan share the same interests, but live on the other side of the world. They want to make a business transaction to exchange goods, but don’t
know and trust each other well enough. InsurePal blockchain business transactions module allows them to craft an upfront agreement in which they specify
important terms and conditions of their transaction. They both have to agree upon a maximum penalty for contract breaching and define a due date after
which the appeal between the parties is no longer possible. In case of dispute, the parties first try to settle it among themselves and if that is not possible,
opt for an arbitrage. Even more, every time a transaction is completed, each of their endorsers` (eg. each note) is rated. Based on their (un)trusted behaviour,
Social Proof Trustscore is calculated and presented to other participating endorsers, serving as an important factor of trust for all of one’s upcoming blockchain-
made arrangements. By enhancing trust and ensuring the financial compensation for breached contracts InsurePal greatly supports the execution of
blind business transactions on blockchain. On one hand, the model keeps insurance premiums as low as not to cause any friction. On the other, the insurance
enhances the execution of all those transactions that would otherwise need to go through the complex process of identity verification in order to establish
    a level of trust.

    Roadmap

In the case above, InsurePal provides insurance coverage to Andrew making business transaction with Susan. If their contract is breached, InsurePal pays the
penalty to John partly from InsurePal insurance pool and partly by collecting deductibles from his endorsers. Due to their direct engagement with Andrew,
his friends Emma, Ann and Frank (nodes 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively) pay more, whereas the others (nodes from 5 to 8 and up) pay less, accordingly. The data
of their transactions is also collected in order to calculate Social Proof Trustscore of each (directly and indirectly) participating endorser. Their exposure and
the collection of the deductibles is governed by the InsurePal algorithm. The process can be compared to the co-signing loans with one major difference:
InsurePal model allows that all the endorsers (co-signers) receive a financial incentive. It is expected that due to their mutual social pressure the InsurePal
community in whole will behave more diligently, and hence the insurance premiums will be low enough to not cause any friction on the executing transactions.
Our model is applicable anywhere in the world due the imposed element of trust among the insurers and the endorsers. As such, it can easily penetrate into
the countries where insurance is extremely costly or into those where it doesn’t exist at all, with the assumption that diligent subgroups may appear anywhere.

    ROADMAP WITH INVESTMENT CLIFFS

InsurePal is changing the concept of insurance as we know it today. Due the fact we’re disrupting one of the state’s most regulated industries we must commit to strictly comply with the requirements of regulators in spite of innovation in order to preserve the trust of all of our stakeholders. By designing our Roadmap, we want to provide the team with optimum working conditions, as we are aware of the scale and complexity of the work that is ahead of us. We set our goals on the dot with the commitment to deliver our promise in due time and thus preserve your trust and our primacy in the field of insurance of the future.

2015 Social proof and first round of funding

Insurance industry is full of irregularities.

Founders identify the science of social proof as a solution and invest close to $500.000 to develop the social proof model and web app demo.

Calibrated mathematical algorithms confirm the model brings from 30% and up to 70% cost reduction.

    2016 US & worldwide patent

Social proof insurance patent protection is filed in US and worldwide. Founders pitch the idea in Silicon Valley but refuse several million offer to be able to develop InsurePal on their own terms.

The methodology, viability assessment and a legal review of the project are developed. Blockchain is identified as the missing piece. Several meetings with crypto think-tanks occur. InsurePal core team is assembled.

2017 Core team & ICO preparation

InsurePal enters in partnership with Netis Group and expands the team with several blockchain and IT experts.

The architectural design of the InsurePal platform and its functionalities begins. Parallelly, the extensive preparations for ICO go about.

2018 Platform launch & extended blockchain features integration

    16 January: IPL token crowdsale

The development of InsurePal platform core begins. First social proof modules are ready to be used. PR & Marketing campaign launches.

We obtain MGA insurance license for UK market and start with UK pilot project. Platform is further developed and new social proof modules are integrated, ready to be used by third-parties. Extensive legal and regulatory preparations to obtain the EU passport license begin.

2019 and on Global expansion & B2B partnerships growth

Additional functionalities are implemented. Partnerships with interested third-parties are further promoted. Implementation of claims community handling model begins. All InsurePal activities are promoted on a global scale.

InsurePal platform to become a “to-go” global social proof insurance.

    IPL Token

    INSUREPAL (IPL) TOKEN

InsurePal token (IPL) will be the fuel of InsurePal platform used by clients and InsurePal
third-party business partners worldwide. For each new insurance premium conducted
via InsurePal platform, the IPL token will be used. Tokenizing property will allow InsurePal
to uniquely identify insurance assets and transform the information to other types of
businesses via a digital record, containing information about one’s social proof. InsurePal
platform will use different means to incentivize participants to use it and tokens will be
listed on different exchanges to simplify the trading process and make the token available
    to a broad audience.

IPL TOKEN FOR INSURANCE OF BLOCKCHAIN BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS

The insurance of blockchain business transactions with social proof will be done in IPL
tokens solely, meaning that the client will have to purchase the premium with IPL tokens.
For each of their endorsers, the incentive will have to be paid in IPL tokens as well,
whereas their guarantee can be done by IPL lock-in or differently (with the use of credit
card, credit note etc.). Even more, all fees coming from the side of possible participating
insurance companies and other third-parties will have to be paid with IPL tokens as well.
For that, this kind of insurance transactions will greatly grow the InsurePal liquidity pool
and importantly improve the trust and flow of blockchain business transactions.

IPL TOKEN AS AN INSURANCE PREMIUM DISCOUNT

To receive the InsurePal insurance, clients will be asked to take and upload a photo of
their existing insurance policy. The InsurePal will then calculate and offer each client
a discount, proportionate to the size of their endorsers` guarantee. This way, every
client will receive a specific number of tokens, representing the exact amount of their
estimated discount according to a current market value. In the first phase, the client will
also be able to opt out for the cash discount in the form of lower premium price. In this
case, the cash discount will account for approximately 20% less than the value of the
    estimated token discount.

IPL TOKEN AS AN UPFRONT INCENTIVE

For each new social proof guarantee, the endorser will receive a guarantee premium/
reward in local fiat currency or in IPL tokens. The endorser will be able to sell the IPL
tokens immediately or speculate and wait for an even higher market value or to save
them to buy insurance policy in the future.

IPL AS CREDIT SCORE AND SOCIAL PROOF SCORE

Social proof endorsers will be able to make the guarantee with the credit card or via a
smart contract. Their social proof guarantee will consist of relevant information on the
client (the insurance holder) and will serve to them as a credit report. If several endorsers
will guarantee for the same person, their credit score will proportionally increase in
value. In parallel to token transactions, these information will be stored in the general
ledger being partially encrypted and partially public. The encrypted part will only be
disclosed publically if its holder approves.

IPL AS A SOCIAL PROOF IDENTITY

The clients holding IPL will be able to identify themselves within the InsurePal Community.
Even more, in the long run they will be able to sell their own social proof guarantee
without revealing their identity to institutions or reinsurers in order to get the guarantee
and a proportionate share of their insurance premium.

    IPL FOR CLAIMS ADJUSTMENT

In the future, the InsurePal may appoint some members of their InsurePal community
to process and report on the claims, a service that will have a financial incentive. Claims
which go beyond an agreed threshold (exact amount to be decided) will be decided
by professional claims adjusters who will report their recommendations to InsurePal
before informing the client. In essence, there is no insurance company involvement as
everything is settled by the community on the bases of blockchain and smart contracts.

    IPL LIQUIDITY POOL

Discount conversion to tokens will be incentivised, therefore InsurePal will have to convert
a significant percentage (from 10% to 30% for classical insurance segments and,
100% for blockchain business transactions insurance) of each new premium into IPL
tokens and give the tokens back to InsurePal clients and their social proof endorsers.

To continue, all third-party businesses (eg. retailers, telecoms etc.) selling their social
proof insurance products via InsurePal platform will be obliged to use IPL tokens and
trade with them on exchanges. The adoption of InsurePal social proof model will make
it obligatory for third-parties to embed their client` social proof data by InsurePal platform.
Any fees for using InsurePal social proof insurance platform will have to be paid in
    IPL tokens as well.
By selling more and more new policies, there will be more and more demand for tokens,
creating a solid liquidity pool for exchanging tokens to fiat and vice versa, supporting
the growth of IPL token price. InsurePal model guarantees a high liquidity of IPL

tokens, enabling the token holders to sell their tokens at any time. In case of a big IPL
token price growth special token split/denomination processes will be set in motion.
The estimate is that not all of the acquired tokens will be sold immediately, meaning
the demand will always be higher than the supply. In line with the mass adoption of
cryptocurrencies, the demand and usability of IPL token will grow and consequently, IPL
will become a go-to currency of arising alternate insurance industry. The tokens will be
bought solely on exchanges from other token holders.

    IPL TOKEN CROWDSALE

The issuance of the IPL tokens will be controlled by a smart contract deployed on Ethereum
network. The token will conform to the ERC20 standard. The minimum target for
the crowdsale is set to Ether equivalent of $5 million while the hard cap will be at set
at $18 million in total. Base token price upon the launch of the crowdsale will be set to
    $0.10.
InsurePal doesn’t support uncapped token crowdsales as we are able to provide an
estimate on how big investment we need to achieve our business goal. Furthermore,
uncapped token crowdsales turned out to be harmful for the tokenized economy as
they are often driven by greed, taking advantage of the hype. For that, InsurePal token
crowdsale will be processed automatically and a security measure for the contributors
will be included. If the minimum goal is not reached, InsurePal will not be able to access
the funds, and participating contributors will get a full refund. This measure adequately
protects the contributors and eliminates the need for an escrow. At the same time, we
are committed to deliver our features as comprehensively as possible, which is why we
made InsurePal platform and its technical development a priority of our operations.
A total of up to 300 million of non-mineable IPL tokens will be issued during the IPL
token crowdsale. Contributions will be made available in ETH (Ethereum) only. Each ETH
contributed for the entire duration of the IPL Token Crowdsale will entitle the contributor
to approx. 3,000 IPL tokens (the exact amount to be calculated and determined on
16 January 2018, depending on the then value of ETH).

    Role of token: Utility
    Token supply: 300,000,000
Distributed in the crowvdsale: 201,000,000 IPL (67 %)
    Symbol/Ticker :  IPL
    Decimals : 18
    Initial value: $0.10
    Blockchain: Ethereum

The ETH/USD exchange rate will be locked based on the market exchange rate as of 16
January 2018, and shall remain valid for the entire time of the IPL Token Crowdsale. The
process of token crowdsale will be open for 21 days with the intention to close it early.

    .

    IPL TOKEN DISTRIBUTION

OUT OF UP TO 300 MILLION IPL TOKENS:
»» up to 201,000,000 IPL Tokens (67%) will be distributed to the contributors in the IPL Token
    Crowdsale; and
    »» up to 72,000,000 IPL Tokens (24%) will be distributed to the Founders and Team;
»» up to 18,000,000 IPL Tokens (6%) will be distributed to the Advisors and Ambassadors; and
»» up to 9,000,000 IPL Tokens (3%) are intended for Incentives for Users & Contributors of
    InsurePal platform.
The smart contract will generate IPL tokens immediately upon receiving ETH at its
address. In due time, after the token crowdsale reaches its hard cap or closes after 21
days, whichever occurs first, the IPL tokens will be released to the contributors and to
InsurePal AG, according to the split outlined above. Each ETH contributed will generate
a corresponding number of IPL Tokens (approx. 2,600 IPL Tokens for the contributor,
plus potential bonuses and a corresponding amount of IPL Tokens to be distributed to
    InsurePal Ltd).
A 10% BONUS WILL BE ALLOCATED TO:
»» contributors who contribute within 96 hours of the InsurePal token crowdsale launch; or
»» contributors who contribute over 50 ETH.
Please note: each contributor cannot receive a bonus in excess of 10% (even if they
contribute within 96 hours of the IPL Token Crowdsale launch with more than 50 ETH). No
other bonus of any kind or nature will be offered subsequently.

InsurePal AG however reserves the right to introduce an IPL Token Pre-Crowdsale
contribution period (by invitation only), where the bonus or a discount for the exclusive
duration of the IPL Token Pre-Crowdsale contribution period may be up to 15% (at the
discretion of InsurePal AG). IPL Tokens, based on the funds raised during the IPL Token
Pre-Crowdsale contribution period, will be generated and distributed several hours prior
to the start of the official IPL Token Crowdsale. The IPL Tokens distributed during the Token
Pre-Crowdsale contribution period will not exceed 70% of all the available IPL Tokens
assigned to the contributors (with other words, during the IPL Token Pre-Crowdsale not
more than 140.700.000 IPL tokens out of 201.000.000 IPL tokens will be distributed).
All the investors in the Pre-Crowdsale will be whitelisted.
In case the IPL Token Crowdsale is not successful (i.e. in case less than equivalent of $5
million is contributed), all contributed funds will be returned to the contributors.
The ownership of the IPL token does not include the right to:
    »» ownership of the company
»» ownership of the company’s intellectual property
»» ownership of the service’s IP
    »» profits of the service
»» participate in decision making, unless options are put up on voting to token holders
The InsurePal founding team has a complete control over the strategy as well as a dayto-
day decision making. The InsurePal AG owns all intellectual property of the service,
    which includes:
»» InsurePal brand name and domain
    »» InsurePal patent
»» InsurePal source code of the website
    »» InsurePal platform algorithm
    »» database(s)

If during the KYC proces the contributor is identified to come from the mentioned countries, its participation will be canceled and the tokens will be refunded.

What is KYC or Why Do We Need to Know You

We`re dedicated to create a blockchain-based insurance platform that will serve as a reference example of a good business practice. For that, we have carefully examined the current standards in conducting ICOs and come to the conclusion that more transparency is required to meet the demands of both, the contributors and legislators. That is why we introduce KYC as an obligatory step in the whitelisting pres-sale process.

KYC (“Know Your Customer”) is the process of identifying and verifying the identity of our contributors. Its objective is to comply with the increasingly demanding legislative rules, and to prevent any type of fraud in due-time. It gives us an important insight into our customers and helps us to properly manage the potential risks.

The whitelist pre-sale form will ask you to share some personal information with us. To verify them it may take us 24 hours or longer. Please, be patient and certain we will notify you as soon as the KYC is successfully completed.

Important notice: The InsurePal whitelist pre-sale form will be open until 8 January 2018. We kindly ask you to submit your KYC data up to that date in order to proceed with the process to receive your IPL tokens. Otherwise, we will return you the funds on the wallet address you provided.

We believe this process can deliver several benefits to our early investors now and in the long-rung, but most of all, guarantee you that your contributions are in the hands of professionals who will never violate your trust. Our intent is to be as transparent as possible, so please ask us any and all follow-up questions in our Telegram group.

  • [FULL] STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE FOR CONTRIBUTING ON INSUREPAL WHITELIST PRE-SALE AND CROWDSALE

We prepared a detailed guide with pictures, that will help you to prepare and execute your contribution to our whitelist pre-sale/crowdsale.

WARNING: PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS AND INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY IN ORDER THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SAFELY PARTICIPATE IN THE IPL TOKEN WHITELIST SALE AND CROWDSALE. Missing a simple step might result in you not being able to participate or in the worst-case scenario even in you losing your investment.

Major steps for your safe investment:

    1. Open a private Ethereum Wallet
    2. Acquire Ethereum
    3. Transact Ethereum to your private Ethereum Wallet
    4. Register and pass the KYC process
    5. Contribute

If you already have fulfilled any of these steps (when investing in cryptocurrencies before), you of course just do remaining steps to closeup the investment.

Disclaimer: All instructions and steps are based on best practices on security and ease of use. There are several other approaches and solutions, that are not appropriate for users without advanced knowledge on the blockchain technology and software.

Whitelist pre-sale and Crowdsale features and warnings

ONLY Ethereum (ETH) cryptocurrency will be accepted in contributions.

In order to acquire IPL Tokens on Whitelist pre-sale or Crowdsale, you will be able to contribute Ethereum Cryptocurrency only. Sending other cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin — BTC, Litecoin — LTC etc.) at the process of contributing will result in a permanent loss due to technical limitations of the process.

WARNING: Use PRIVATE Ethereum wallets for contributing, NOT Online Exchange accounts.

Please do NOT send Ethereum from Online Exchanges (Bitstamp, Kraken, Bittrex, Livecoin, Bitfinex etc.). Each of Ethereum addresses at Online exchanges are specially dedicated for only one cryptocurrency (e.g. Ethereum) and are unable to handle issued IPL Tokens. Sending Ethereum directly from Online Exchange account will most probably result in a permanent loss of your IPL Tokens or at least months of negotiating with Online Exchange’s Support.

Create and contribute from your own, private, ERC-20 compatible, Ethereum wallet. There are several ways to create your own wallet, we will describe some in later steps.

    Phases are time limited

Contributions in Ethereum will only be accepted in certain time frames, that will be publicly announced on our webpage and social media. Please be sure not to miss your opportunity to contribute due to preparation process. Be aware that some steps can be time consuming, for example:

    • verification (if needed) on the Online Exchange (up to 2 weeks),
    • bank transfers (2–5 working days),
    • confirmation of your KYC personal data (depends on the amount of applications).

STEP 1: Open a private Ethereum wallet

There are several ways to open your private Ethereum wallet. What does it mean that it is “private”? It means, that you have the access to your private key, a string of numbers and letters, that must always stay secured — never share it with anyone. For security reasons, these private keys are often additionally encrypted with your own password.

General (most common) Ethereum wallet use-cases:

    1. keystore file (UTC/JSON) + password, generated on MyEtherWallet.com web page and saved on several secured locations (recommended option),
    2. full node, desktop software solutions — Mist, Parity. Wallet synchronization can take up to several days. (good choice for advanced users),
    3. hardware wallets, such as Trezor and Ledger, that will keep your private keys secured (advanced use-case, recommended for increased security) and
    4. metamask for usage in browsers (for advanced users only).

Creating private Ethereum wallet with MyEtherWallet.com

We will describe the most common use case: Opening a private Ethereum wallet with myetherwallet.com If you already have an ERC-20 compatible wallet, please go directly to Step №2 below. If you do not have it yet, please read the instructions below in every detail.

WARNING: When using myetherwallet.com in your browser, always check, if you are on a legit website. Never click on links on other webpages or in mails, that can lead you to malicious phishing websites, that are perfect copies of original site. Using these malicious sites you will reveal your wallet (keystore & password) to hackers, that will irreversibly take all your funds from your wallet! You must see a proper address and certificate:

Thereafter, you will be requested to download your wallet keystore file. Save the file on a secure location and also make an additional copy (USB or similar). Thereafter, choose “I understand. Continue.” to proceed.

RECOMMENDATION: Always keep your keystore file on at least two secured storages/locations, accessible only to you. Write down your password and place it somewhere safe (not on the same spot or storage as keystore file), in case you forget it.

The next step is crucial. The page will reveal you your Private Key. In case you will forget your password, you will be able to access your wallet only with this Private Key. Save it on a secure location and again make a backup copy or two. Make sure that if you will store your Private Key in a digital form, only you have access to it. Also make a paper form backup of your Private Key and store it safely. Here we strongly recommend using a hardware wallet, such as Trezor (https://trezor.io/) or Ledger (https://www.ledgerwallet.com/). In order to proceed, choose “Save Your Address” button.

WARNING: Never share your wallet keystore file & password or private key with other people.

Accessing your private Ethereum wallet with myetherwallet.com

You will be able to check your wallet balances by choosing “View Wallet Info” tab. In addition you will also be able to see your public account Address, on which you are able to receive (deposit) ETH as well as IPL (and other Tokens).

You can now access your wallet by unlocking it with your keystore file and by entering password. Choose “Keystore File (UTC / JSON),” and select your wallet file as well as enter your wallet password. After selecting your wallet file and entering a corresponding password, click “Unlock” button to gain the access to your wallet. We do NOT recommend using your Private Key to access your wallet due to security reasons.

Initially, Tokens balances will not appear, you must click on “Load Tokens” button to analyze your Token balances. If IPL Balance still doesn’t appear, you will have to “Add Custom Token”, where you will have to provide an address on IPL Smart Contract, that will be available on the InsurePal website.

In general, it is safe to share your public Address with other people to receive ETH and/or tokens, but still be cautious.

INFO: For each transaction from your wallet, either for sending ETH, IPL Tokens or some other Tokens, you will need some “gas”, it is fuel for the Ethereum network, that validates and confirms your transaction. Gas is paid in Ethereum (ETH). In practice, you will need an additional small amount of ETH to send ETH or IPL from your wallet to some other public address. In time of network congestions, you should modify Gas price to provide enough fuel for your transaction. Check https://ethgasstation.info/ for the current status of Ethereum network and sufficient Gas price.

INFO: You don’t need to access your wallet just to check your wallet balances. Use etherscan.io webpage and insert your public (not private!!) address to see your past transactions and current balances.

    STEP 2: Acquire Ethereum (ETH)

In order to participate in the IPL Token Whitelist pre-sale or Crowdsale, you will need Ethereum (ETH). Although there exist several ways, most common and practical way is to buy ETH on Online Exchange. We strongly recommend using services of a proper online exchange, such as Kraken, Bitstamp, Bittrex. We will describe registration and verification process on Kraken online exchange, similar procedures apply for other online exchanges.

Please note that cryptocurrency is in a rather high demand at the moment. It may take quite some time to open your exchange account and complete the verification process (up to 14 days). We thus suggest to start the account opening and verification procedure soon enough, so that you will be ready for the Token Crowdsale start.

If you already have an ERC-20 compatible wallet and sufficient amount of ETH on it, please proceed directly to Step №3. If you do not have it yet, please read the instructions below in every detail.

After the purchase, you will need to send ETH to the ERC-20 compatible wallet (from Step 1 above).

IMPORTANT: Once you will buy ETH on a below exchange or on any other exchange, NEVER send such ETH to Crowd-funding Address. In first step, transfer it to your personal Wallet and send ETH to InsurePal Crowd-funding Address from a private wallet ONLY in second step.

Opening an account on Kraken online exchange

Go to www.kraken.com and enter the required data (email, username and password). Tick the square that you agree with their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy (naturally, only if you agree). Then choose the “SIGN UP” button. You will get a verification email which you will have to confirm. The activation link from the email will bring you back to the main page, where you will have to enter the password (make sure you thick the “I am not a robot” square) and thereafter choose the “ACTIVATE ACCOUNT” button.

    Verify your identity on Kraken

Before you will be able to buy ETH, you will first need to get verified. Choose the “GET VERIFIED” bar and scroll down the page where you will have to enter your data and provide additional information and documents.

At the moment of the opening of the account you will automatically be assigned “Tier 0” status. Additional options available are “Tier 1”, “Tier 2” and “Tier 3” (while for Tier 4 — corporate account, you would need to contact the support per e-mail). Enter the data requested, depending on which Tier you would like to achieve. The system will guide you through the process. After you fill the data Required for Tier 1, choose the “GET VERIFIED” button.

Once you will reach the required Tier you will have to wait for some time to get verified (it may take up to several hours or even days, depending on the Tier level you are getting verified).

In order to be able to make deposits in USD ($) or in EUR (€) you will have to reach Tier 2 (EUR or USD deposits of up to USD 2,000 (daily limit) and USD 10,000 (monthly limit)) or Tier 3 (EUR or USD deposits of up to USD 25,000 (daily limit) and USD 200,000 (monthly limit)).

Transfer money to your Kraken account

Once your account got verified (either as Tier 2 or as Tier 3) you can deposit USD ($) or EUR (€) or other fiat currencies to your Kraken account.

Choose the “Funding” tab and then “Deposit” tab. Now select “Euro (EUR)” (or other currency) in the left column. If depositing from a SEPA area you then choose the “Fidor Bank AG SEPA” method for a SEPA transfer. Transfer at least 50 EUR. Include your reference number so that the transfer will be assigned to your Kraken account. Within a few days the money should be on your Kraken account.

Exchange your deposited funds for Ethereum on Kraken

Once the money will be credited towards your Kraken account you will be able to buy Ethereum (ETH).

In order to buy ETH, choose the “TRADE” tab and then “NEW ORDER”. Choose the ETH/EUR (or other in case you are buying with other currency) currency pair to buy ETH with EUR and choose “BUY” tab. Enter the number of ETH you want to buy in the “AMOUNT” field. Choose either “MARKET” to buy ETH at the current market price or choose “Limit” and enter the fixed price at which you would like to buy ETH. Choose “Buy ETH with EUR” and check your details again. By choosing “SUBMIT ORDER” you confirm the purchase of the Ether. Your EUR should be changed to ETH immediately in case you have chosen the “MARKET” tab. In case you have selected the “LIMIT” tab you will have to wait that your offer will match offers of ETH seller(s).

Recommendation: Exchange pairs for trading ETH can be volatile and can easily change 20% in a single day. Choose proper timing for your trades.

STEP 3: Transact Ethereum to your private Ethereum wallet

After you have successfully acquired (exchanged/buy) Ethereum on online exchange, you must send it to your private Ethereum wallet, before making a contribution.

Warning: Never transfer ETH to InsurePal Crowd-funding address from an online exchange. Send it to your private wallet first!

What you need to prepare for this step:

    • access to your online exchange account (e.g. on Kraken) with positive ETH balance and
    • public Ethereum address of your Ethereum wallet.

In order to send ETH from Kraken to your private Ethereum wallet, follow these steps:

    1. Choose the “Funding” tab and then choose “Withdraw”.
    2. Choose Ether on the bottom left side.
    3. Choose the “+ Add address” tab. Add a description and your Ether address and enter your private Address (from the ERC20 compatible wallet).
    4. Choose the “Save address” tab.
    5. You will be sent a confirmation email. Make sure that you check your email and confirm new address.
    6. You will be redirected back to your Kraken account.
    7. Choose the “Funding” tab and then choose “Withdraw”.
    8. Choose Ether on the bottom left side.
    9. Choose the Address that you just created and confirmed from the dropdown.
    10. Enter the amount of ETH you would like to send to your private Address.
    11. Choose the “REVIEW WITHDRAWAL” Button.
    12. Check every detail of the transaction and if all the data are correct choose “CONFIRM WITHDRAWAL” button.

Please wait while the transaction is being processed. Once the “INITIATED” or “PENDING” status changes to “SUCCESS” you can access your ETH wallet while ETH should now be in your private wallet and you can proceed with next step.

INFO: You don’t need to access your wallet just to check your wallet balances. Use www.etherscan.io webpage and insert your public (not private!!) address to see your past transactions and current balances.

STEP 4: Register on InsurePal Whitelist Pre-Sale and pass the KYC process

To participate on the Whitelist Pre-Sale, you must first visit InsurePal webpage: https://insurepal.io/ On the website you must click on a button “APPLY FOR WHITELIST”.

After clicking on the button, a KYC (“Know Your Customer”) submission form will appear.

The objective of KYC is to confirm our customer`s real identities in order to fully comply with legislative regulations. The process is in line with the highest industry standard and it provides our contributors with the safest and most transparent conditions.

To submit your personal data, you have to enter all mandatory fields on the KYC form. Please provide us with the following information and prepare the documents:

    1. Full name, address, postal code, city, country, nationality, e-mail, phone number and your return wallet address;
    2. ID document information and scans of both sides;

WARNING: The InsurePal Whitelist Pre-Sale form will be open until 8 January 2018. We kindly ask you to submit your KYC data up to that date in order to receive your IPL tokens. Otherwise, we will return your funds to your private Ethereum wallet (with a small deduction due to gas for the transaction).

We recommend that you provide all the mandatory personal information and scans to enter the KYC verification process. After inserting all fields and uploading all scans of the documents you can submit your KYC form with clicking on a button “APPLY FOR WHITELIST”. You will receive an email confirmation that will assure you that your KYC request was successfully submitted and is pending for a review and a verification.

If from any reason you choose to continue without submitting all mandatory information, you can click on the button “APPLY FOR WHITELIST”. A pop-up message will appear, allowing you to click on the “APPLY WITHOUT KYC” button. You will be able to return to this step and continue with the KYC process later through an in-mail link.

After submitting your Whitelist Pre-Sale application, you will receive a mail confirmation with your unique Ethereum address for contributing your Ethereum (ETH). You will need this unique address in the next step (Contribute).

Your KYC request will be reviewed and verified after successfully submitted. In case of insufficient data or poor data quality, you will be contacted with a mail to provide additional data or proofs. Please keep in mind, that in case of increased number of requests, the verification process can last more than 24 hours or longer to resolve.

You will receive a mail notification when you pass the verification process.

    STEP 5: Contribute

You can contribute on Whitelist Pre-Sale at any time till 8th January 2018. Only Ethereum (ETH) contributions will be accepted.

To participate on the Whitelist Pre-Sale or Crowdsale, you need to have:

    • Private Ethereum wallet (step 1) with a certain amount of Ethereum (ETH) in its balance that you are willing to contribute on the presale (step 2 & 3) and
    • Unique Ethereum address for contributing, that you receive with mail after applying on the Whitelist.

WARNING: To receive IPL Tokens after the end of the contribution phase, you must pass the KYC verification process (step 4) till 8th January 2018.

WARNING: Sending Ethereum directly from any Online Exchange will result in a loss of your IPL Tokens. Send your contributions from an ERC-20 compatible private Ethereum wallet.

We will describe a process of contribution from MyEtherWallet, although you can also contribute from other private ERC-20 compatible Ethereum wallets.

    Send a contribution from MyEtherWallet

    1. Go to www.myetherwallet.com webpage. Make sure you are actually on the correct webpage and not on any other duplicated or phishing webpage.
    2. Choose the “SEND ETHER & TOKENS” tab. First you will need to unlock your wallet: select the “KEYSTORE FILE (UTC / JSON)” option, choose your locally saved keystore wallet file, that represents your private Ethereum wallet, enter the password, and choose the “UNLOCK” button.

    3. After successfully unlocking your wallet, you will need to create a transaction on the “SEND ETHER & TOKENS” form.

3.1. Copy your unique Ethereum address for contributing, that you received in a mail from InsurePal after you applied on the Whitelist, in the “TO ADDRESS” field.

3.2. Enter the amount of ETH you want to contribute in the IPL Token presale in the “AMOUNT TO SEND” field. If you want to send all ETH from your wallet, click “SEND ENTIRE BALANCE” link.

3.3. In the “GAS LIMIT” section we propose you set the limit to 25.000. This value, together with GAS PRICE, will affect the amount of gas you will pay to the Ethereum Network for the confirmation of the transaction (read more below).

3.4. Adjust the Gas price in the top right corner of the webpage (optional, read more below).

3.5. Please check again if all the entered data are correct, in particular, that you have entered the correct Address provided to you and if you have entered the correct amount of ETH you wish to send.

3.6. If all the data are correctly entered, choose “GENERATE TRANSACTION” button to generate the transaction code. Confirm the code by choosing the “SEND TRANSACTION” button that appears below the “RAW TRANSACTION” and “SIGNED TRANSACTION” fields.

    4. You will receive a transaction hash (TX), that helps you to track the transaction and check if it was confirmed by the Ethereum Network.

    Info about Gas

For each transaction on the Ethereum Network, a small fee (Gas) must be deducted from your Ethereum wallet. Gas is calculated as Gas limit * Gas Price. In times of the network congestion, when the number of transactions, waiting to be confirmed, is very high, only transactions with high total gas will be quickly confirmed, others will be pending. In extreme cases, transactions can be pending up to several hours or even days. You can greatly influence on the speed of your transaction’s confirmation with raising the Gas price. You will find a slider in a top-right corner of the webpage.

Check the webpage https://ethgasstation.info/ and adjust your Gas price accordingly. We recommend choosing the value that is equal or higher than “Standard (<5 min)”.

    Check your Ethereum transaction

To check if your transaction was properly confirmed by the Ethereum Network, you can open the webpage: https://etherscan.io/

In the search field you can either insert:

    • A public address of your private Ethereum wallet (not a private key) or
    • Your unique Ethereum address for contributing or
    • TX hash of the transaction, that was shown to you on the MyEtherWallet after submitting a contributing transaction.

If the transaction was successfully confirmed by the network, you will be able to see the transaction in the search report. CONGRATULATIONS, you managed to complete your contribution!

Blockchain advancement, Adoption and User-Centricity as Key Strategic Points

As a Bitcoin pioneer, a social economist, digital currency trader, and ultimate crypto insider, Charlie Shrem is at the epicenter of the crypto universe. He has advised more than a dozen digital currency companies and launched and managed numerous partnerships between crypto and non-crypto enterprises.

He recently founded Crypto IQ, a media and advisory business with a team of seasoned Wall Street veterans that aims to simplify the crypto world and bring virtual currencies mainstream. InsurePal works on a similar premise and aims at wider acceptance of the crypto economy by fortifying new insurance services on the blockchain.

“I’m excited to join the advisory team on this project, and our company, Crypto IQ, is getting involved as well,” Shrem said. “InsurePal is a very interesting concept, and I like to get involved in blockchain projects that are not finance-related. This team has its past success. It has been involved with other companies and has performed well. I believe we can be the bridge between crypto and non-crypto insurance, which will be a very interesting thing.”

In taking an advisory role, Charlie Shrem will help InsurePal become a bridge between tradition and innovation that will shape the insurance industry moving forward. With his connections, business insights and interdisciplinary experience, he is one of the most well-known names in the cryptocurrency community and will help InsurePal achieve and exceed its goal of developing a technologically advanced blockchain platform that is easy-to-use for the widest audience.

“InsurePal will bring this innovative concept of social proof and blockchain insurance to the people who have yet to be involved in crypto and provide an insurance solution for them,” Shrem said. “That is the most interesting part of it.”

Vision, Experience and Industry Know-How Crucial For InsurePal’s Long-Term Success

  • InsurePal Pre-Sale Contributions: Ethereum value growth to cause a proportionate return of funds

Since we started the InsurePal whitelisting pre-sale, we have witnessed a tremendous growth of Ethereum. This has caused us to exceed the pre-sale hard-cap set on $12,6 million. As a consequence, the surplus of funds will be proportionally returned to all pres-ale contributors.

InsurePal is closed-end fund, meaning we are raising a fixed amount of capital through an ICO (initial coin offering). These funds are then structured, listed and traded as IPL token. The price of IPL token will be determined by the marketplace and locked on January 16, only a few hours prior to the crowdsale.

In total, we are raising $18 million of seed capital. Of 300,000,000 IPL tokens issued, there are 201,000,000 IPL available in the token sale in the following manner:  - Pre-sale: 70% (140,700,000 IPL) - Crowdsale: 30% (60,300,000 IPL)

The growth of Ethereum affects presale contributions

In the whitelisting pre-sale, we aimed for $12,6 million and sold-out all 70% of IPL tokens available (with an additional 10% bonus included). Our pre-sale contributors have contributed with Ethereum, whereas InsurePal pre-sale and crowdsale hard-caps are defined and limited with USD dollar. Since we began with the whitelisting process, the crypto marketplace has witnessed a tremendous growth of Ethereum. As a consequence, the contributions made in pre-sale have surpassed the initial pre-sale hard-cap goal.

All presale contributors will be proportionally refunded

We have considered a number of options for returning the surplus of funds invested and decided the best way is to use the method of “hair-cut”, meaning we`ll return them proportionally to each and every presale contributor.

Doing so, we will achieve two important advantages:

    - All pre-sale contributors, regardless of their input, will receive an unchanged amount of IPL tokens

    - All pre-sale contributors will also be refunded with a proportionate share of Ethereum returned back to their wallet address.

We are convinced that this solution is in the fairest for all of you who believed in our project from the beginning and have shown your support in such a large number. By doing so, you will not only get your IPL tokens, but also gain on the extra Ethereum.

The process of returning funds to early contributors will be initiated on January 16.

    Last-minute Crowdsale Details

InsurePal crowdsale is set to begin on January 16, once a specific block is reached. We will make an official announcement and publish the InsurePal crowdsale public wallet address here: https://insurepal.io/crowdsale. We will livestream the event on our Facebook page, so stay tuned! :)

Please, also note the start estimation is not necessarily 100% accurate. All who wish to participate are advised to whitelist as soon as possible as KYC process takes time and spots are getting extremely limited.

  • [HOW TO CONTRIBUTE] Step-by-step Guide for Contributing in InsurePal Crowdsale

We prepared a detailed guide with pictures, that will help you to execute your contribution in InsurePal crowdsale.

WARNING: PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS AND INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY IN ORDER THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO SAFELY PARTICIPATE IN THE IPL TOKEN CROWDSALE. Missing a simple step might result in you not being able to participate or in the worst-case scenario even in you losing your investment.

Major steps for your safe investment:

    1. Open a private Ethereum Wallet 2. Acquire Ethereum 3. Transact Ethereum to your private Ethereum Wallet 4. Register and pass the KYC process 5.

    InsurePal Crowdsale features and warnings

ONLY Ethereum (ETH) cryptocurrency will be accepted in contributions.

In order to acquire IPL Tokens in InsurePal Crowdsale, you will be able to contribute Ethereum Cryptocurrency only.

    · verification (if needed) on the Online Exchange (up to 2 weeks), · bank transfers (2–5 working days), · confirmation of your KYC personal data (depends on the amount of applications).

    1. keystore file (UTC/JSON) + password, generated on MyEtherWallet.com web page and saved on several secured locations (recommended option), 2. full node, desktop software solutions — Mist, Parity. Wallet synchronization can take up to several days. (good choice for advanced users), 3. hardware wallets, such as Trezor and Ledger, that will keep your private keys secured (advanced use-case, recommended for increased security) and 4. metamask for usage in browsers (for advanced users only).

In general, it is safe to share your public Address with other people to receive ETH and/or tokens, but still be cautious.

INFO: For each transaction from your wallet, either for sending ETH or other Tokens, you will need some “gas”, it is fuel for the Ethereum network, that validates and confirms your transaction. Gas is paid in Ethereum (ETH). In practice, you will need an additional small amount of ETH to send ETH or other Tokens from your wallet to some other public address.

In order to participate in the IPL Token Crowdsale, you will need Ethereum (ETH).

We thus suggest to start the account opening and verification procedure soon enough, so that you will be ready for Crowdsale start.

Warning: Never transfer ETH to InsurePal Crowdsale address from an online exchange. Send it to your private wallet first!

What you need to prepare for this step:

    · access to your online exchange account (e.g. on Kraken) with positive ETH balance and · public Ethereum address of your Ethereum wallet.

STEP 4: Submit your KYC information on InsurePal website to participate in InsurePal crowdsale

To participate in InsurePal crowdsale, you have to first visit InsurePal webpage: https://insurepal.io/. On the website, click on a button “SUBMIT KYC”.

IMPORTANT: Citizens or individuals with lawful permanent resident or domicile in the USA, Canada, South Korea, Singapore, China are not allowed to contribute in the InsurePal crowdsale.

STEP 5: Contribute in InsurePal crowdsale

We will announce the block with which the InsurePal crowdsale will start and the contribution address on this link, on 16th January: https://insurepal.io/crowdsale.

Only Ethereum (ETH) contributions, that will be transacted on contribution address AFTER the published starting block from confirmed (KYC) private addresses, will be accepted. Contributions (ETH transactions), that will arrive:

    · before the published block or · after the maximum cap is reached or · will arrive from KYC unconfirmed private addresses · will be bounced back to contributing private address.

3.1. Copy InsurePal crowdsale Ethereum address for contributing, that was published on https://insurepal.io/crowdsale in the “TO ADDRESS” field. 3.2. Enter the amount of ETH you want to contribute in the IPL Token crowdsale in the “AMOUNT TO SEND” field.

    · A public address of your private Ethereum wallet (not a private key) or · InsurePal Crowdsale Ethereum address or · TX hash of the transaction, that was shown to you on the MyEtherWallet after submitting a contributing transaction.

If the transaction was successfully confirmed by the network, you will be able to see the transaction in the search report.

CONGRATULATIONS, you managed to complete your contribution!

    What to expect next?

Release of the IPL tokens will be initiated after the end of the crowdsale. You will be able to check your IPL Token balance either on https://etherscan.io/ or directly on https://www.myetherwallet.com/.

Initially, Tokens balances will not appear, you must click on “Load Tokens” button to analyze your Token balances. If IPL Balance still doesn’t appear, you will have to “Add Custom Token”.

  • InsurePal Crowdsale Terms: Vesting, Pricing and IPL distribution

Transparency and dedication are crucial for InsurePal future success. For that, IPL Tokens dedicated to Founders, InsurePal Executive and InsurePal TCS Support Team will be reverse vested for 2 years with a cliff vesting schedule.

As transparency is a cornerstone value of our InsurePal project, we cherish a clear communication with our community. We would like to explain you the vesting process and the reasoning behind this process.

    IPL Token Distribution

To summarize, the total of 300,000,000 IPL tokens will be distributed in the following manner:

    • Crowdsale: 67% IPL (of that 70% was sold-out in whitelisting pre-sale) The majority of IPL tokens will be put on public sale to gain funds for further platform development.
    • Founders and team: 24% IPL (10 % founders, 6 % InsurePal team, 6 % TCS Support Team) A dedicated amount of IPL tokens will be held by project founders and the team who made InsurePal a reality.
    • Advisors & Ambassadors: 6% IPL A portion of tokens will be given to our advisors and ambassadors for reaching broader audience and awakening greater interest in InsurePal.
    • Platform Incentives: 3% IPL To achieve faster growth, part of the funds will be allocated to offer various incentives to our most active users and engaged supporters.

It is important for the team behind the InsurePal to maintain an interest in IPL tokens after the crowdsale. For that reason, the IPL tokens distributed to founders, InsurePal executive and InsurePal TCS team have a built-in vesting schedules to align incentives and prevent potential market dumps. This ownership motivates our team members to continuously operate in a way that is in the best interest of all IPL token holders.

    What is vesting?

The vesting process at crypto start-ups shares great similarities with the classical vesting by which an employee accrues non-forfeitable rights over employer-provided stock incentives or employer contributions made to the employee’s qualified retirement plan account or pension plan. But, there are two important differences:

    • Vesting in crypto refers to digital tokens. Ownership of the IPL tokens don’t include rights to ownership of the company, company’s intellectual property, service’s IP, profits of the service or participate in decision making, unless options are put up on voting to token holders.
    • Vesting is applied to InsurePal Founders and Core Team and TCS Team Members.

The vesting function effectively locks IPL from transfers and transactions until the IPL is held for a set amount of time. In other words, if a holder attempts to transfer more IPL tokens than vested (or matured), the transaction will fail and not execute.

    Why was vesting introduced?

Founders, InsurePal Executive Team and TCS Team Members agreed to receive part (or even whole) compensation for their work in a form of IPL Tokens in order to express their devotion and determination towards the project.

They have also agreed to a vesting period of 24 months, meaning that 50% of their tokens will be released after the first cliff of 12 months and another 50% after the second cliff (24 months). After the release, these IPL tokens will be transferable and fully operational.

    How the vesting process works?

IPL Tokens, dedicated for vesting purposes, will be placed on private Ethereum addresses and vested with a locking function, integrated in a Smart Contract. The function restrains all other functions of the tokens on these addresses, therefore they temporary lose their transferability.

Why is this important for other contributors?

The vesting process is a guarantee that project’s stakeholders have a sincere intention to participate on the project on a long-run.

    InsurePal Crowdsale Summary

As an overview and a quick reminder, InsurePal project is set according to the following schedule:

    · Whitelisting Pre-Sale: Finished with 70% IPL tokens Sold-Out. Read more on blog. · Crowd-Sale: Starts on 16 January at 13:00 UTC

We advise all who wish to participate to whitelist as soon as possible as KYC process takes time and spots are getting extremely limited.
