Bitcoin Private Payment Platform Launch
BTCP Pay’s open beta has launched and released to the world. We would like to give a huge thank you to our devs for diligently working on this. BTCP Pay brings opportunities for real-world use and adoption, something which the Bitcoin Private team has always considered to be a driving factor in its continued evolution.
Over the last 3 months, the BTCP Pay development team has been hard at work in tandem with our closed beta merchants to ensure the platform runs smoothly, and offers them the tools they’ve told us they need. Thank you to all those merchants for their participation and feedback which directly led into pre-launch feature improvements to BTCP Pay.
As of a week ago we had 300 beta merchants “pre-signup” for access to the merchant platform and with the efforts of our newly formed marketing committee, this number has raised since (600+ pre-signups as of now) with more details to come as the platform evolves. We will be moving to help any merchants who signed up for our beta to integrate the launched BTCP Pay product. Please note — a pre-signup does not necessarily mean the merchant has integrated BTCP Pay already.
Over the coming weeks, we will be emailing these new merchants to find out more on their experiences integrating BTCP Pay into their business, addressing any hurdles they may have encountered, and working to help promote and feature their services to our community.
By working closely with our merchants — providing support and information throughout the integration — we show our dedication to this new ecosystem they find themselves in and create a network built on trust, reliability, and ‘ease of use’ deploying BTCP Pay.
We feel this launch is also the beginning of something very special within our community and the greater cryptocurrency movement, and we are very much looking forward to seeing different types of merchants join us in the coming weeks.
