BACK TO EARTH - Alternate Reality Experience and SRC Crowdfund​

    As the 21st century progresses, audiences have shown that they
    desire more immersive experiences than one medium can provide. Back to
    Earth is the first of a series of elaborate stories that test player’s
    sense of reality through captivating game mechanics, a professionally
    produced web-series, and an in game economy that utilizes a blockchain
    based token: StarCredits. Unique items, challenges, and story is created
    with the functionality of the blockchain.


    THE STORY OF BACK TO EARTH

    A new technology has turned the human race into aggressive and
    brain dead animals. A few survivors must brave this new world in order
    to rediscover humanity and save themselves. Their story will lead you to
    apps, websites, social media pages, phone numbers, and physical
    locations that cause you to question reality and blur the lines between
    fact and fiction. It's an experience aimed at a mass audience, but that
    begins with the cryptocurrency community.

    WHAT IS AN ALTERNATE REALITY GAME

    An Alternate Reality Game (ARG) is a game which uses multimedia to
    tell an interactive story that unfolds in real time. In ARG's, players
    work together to help solve plot-based puzzles in order to uncover the
    mysteries the game presents. ARG's come in many forms, from the "Why so
    Serious" Dark Knight Campaign to Sundance's "Pandemic." Some don’t
    necessarily have a narrative, such as the Pokemon Go mobile app — though
    a lack of narration has potentially proven fatal for Pokemon Go.

    In Back to Earth, players who engage in the story can be presented
    with rewards and other content. The deeper they dig, the more they will
    find.

    The game will use a native token, StarCredits, that will have an inherent value in the game

    STARCREDITS (SRC) is the crypto-based token for Back to Earth, and will be used to:

    • Sway real-time story outcomes
    • Earn in-game content
    • Unlock special features
    • Discover hidden puzzles
    • Purchase specific storylines

    And more!

    The use of StarCredits gives players a competitive advantage towards
    solving certain puzzles and discovering in-game content. This content
    may act as an asset that can be collected or traded to other players.

    DEFLATIONARY ECONOMICS

    All SRC that is used to interact with Back to Earth content WILL NOT
    be returned to the game creators. Instead, this SRC will be removed from
    existence, causing a natural decrease in supply.

    Properly engaging the audience will cause an increase of demand for a token that gets rarer as the game progresses.

    JOINING THE CROWDFUND

    All participants in the SRC crowdfund will gain early access to the
    Back to Earth launch; this will include a forum for players to work
    together to solve the game’s puzzles. This early access will give
    players an early game advantage to discovering rewards and other assets.


    The game will launch with the official release of a mobile app. A
    film series will be released alongside the app that introduces players
    to the world.

    USE OF CFC FUNDS

    CFC funds will go towards the production of the Back to Earth
    Alternate Reality Game, the mobile app, and the film series. The story
    has been constructed, and now we need to hire developers to see our
    vision realized.

    A majority of the funds will go towards the creation of the
    aforementioned mobile app as well as the film series that will be
    released alongside it. Funds will also be allocated to the creation and
    maintenance of the puzzles surrounding the ARG, and to the very
    important task of marketing this project to a global audience.

    ven after the ARG element of this experience has
    ended, the created content will still be able to live on and generate
    user engagement and interest.

    Up to 15% of the CFC funds will go towards player rewards. An unexpected surplus of funds may be used to create a second season of content, or produce new stories and media.
