Swarm City Keyholders Upgrade to a New Multisig Wallet Contract

  • Swarm City changed the multisig address used to hold funds it received from the November, 2016 Token Sale. The wallet was upgraded because the keyholders needed to make changes to the key distribution, and this was not possible with the existing multisignature contract. Other Ethereum projects also noticed the lack of flexibility the former multisig contract offered, therefore a new version was coded and released. Swarm City has followed its peers in adopting the new multisig.

Here is a link to the code:

Because of the new contract, the wallet address has changed. All funds that were in the old wallet have been transferred to the new wallet address. That transfer can be tracked here:

Since we are using the Ethereum blockchain, Swarm City transactions can always be tracked through Explorers like etherscan.io.
